- This program will create future engineers who can work in a global context and with the skills and understanding to address the challenges of poverty worldwide.
- Students gain an understanding of infrastructure design and delivery processes in resource-limited settings and learn how to mobilise technical expertise to develop solutions with local stakeholders in a global context.
- The wide range of taught modules also provides opportunities to critically engage with the complexities and ethical dilemmas of working as an engineer internationally.
- Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
- The programme consists of three core modules (45 credits), a collaborative project (30 credits), three optional modules (45 credits), and a dissertation/report (60 credits).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have a minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as engineering, architecture, geography, urban planning, mathematics) from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
- However, only candidates with either a first- or upper second-class degree will be accepted, although applicants with a lower second-class degree supported by extensive relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 7.75/10, 6.25/8.0, 5.75/7.0, 4.25/6.0, 3.3/4.0, or 60% where a GPA scale is not used.. The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.
