University Of Leicester, Leicester Ranking 2024 from QS, THE & US NEWS

Not for me, I am a study abroad student. I have no idea what the internship program is like here. My home university does not guarantee internships but I had one on my own last summer.

Leicester had good academics and was geographically situated well. It's kind of central so I can travel easily. I saw it was a top-ranked university. Also, there were only about four other options through my home universities study abroad program.

I've never had a placement at university, keeping in mind that I'm in my first year. I did do a workshop for a company and helped them with innovative ideas. Mathematic students don't really worry about jobs because we know a maths degree is very open and there are hundreds of businesses wanting us.

I'm not sure if Leicester provides internships for mathematic students. There are internships here though. They sound like a good idea though. I have an internship with another company but unrelated to the university.
