Genetics underpins all aspects of the life sciences and is a vibrant and expanding discipline at the core of biological and medical sciences, playing a vital part in the development of genetic engineering and decoding of the human genome.
While studying specialist genetics modules such as human genetic disorders and cancer genetics, youÕll also develop comprehensive knowledge and understanding of related disciplines.
The integrated Genetics, MBiol at the University of Leeds offers you an additional year of specialist training. YouÕll study advanced topics, such as high-throughput technologies, plant biotechnology and conservation genetics, and undertake an extended research project.
