The modules offered on the Nursing Studies course at Coventry University provide an opportunity to strengthen your CV in a number of ways. You might choose to examine approaches to managing individuals with long-term conditions or to enhance your knowledge of ethics and the law as these relate to nursing practice.
For international students, the course provides access to discussion of a broad range of approaches to health care and the opportunity to compare and apply new knowledge. Modules are designed to promote the opportunity to expand the intercultural community and to share best practices.
Your master’s degree culminates with an opportunity to propose, design, conduct and report on a research project of relevance and potential benefit to your field of nursing. This enables you to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the philosophy and principles of research, as well as your competence and ability to subsequently carry out research independently and to commission, manage and evaluate the research activities in the field.
Past students have examined a diverse range of topic areas, such as the role of the nurse in supporting women suffering domestic violence, the impact of standardisation on nursesÕ professional autonomy and the use of complementary therapies by nurses in palliative care.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

To enter the course students need to have one of the following requirement:

A minimum of a second class honours degree in a computing-related subject. Students from graduates in other disciplines (such as mathematics, physics, or engineering) with experience in programming would also be considered on individual merits.
An unclassified degree plus at least two year’s further study or professional experience in computing-related subjects.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
