- CALIN is a Û12 million flagship Ireland-Wales INTERREG operation, offering businesses in Ireland and Wales open access to a unique strategic international partnership between six world-class universities; Swansea University, Cardiff University, Bangor University, University College Dublin, Tyndall National Institute and the National University of Ireland Galway.
- Focusing on precision medicine (diagnostics, devices and new therapeutics), regenerative medicine and bio-Compatibility and safety evaluation, CALIN will engage with businesses to support advanced life science product development through collaborative R&D projects using a team of dedicated innovation officers.
- CALIN will provide Welsh and Irish businesses with access to a powerful knowledge base, highly skilled R&D scientists, and state-of-the-art technological infrastructure enabling accelerated innovation and growth in high-value jobs. The operation will also offer access to a network of key stakeholders including those involved in supply chains, route to market and end-user healthcare providers through a series of CALIN events.
