Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Cardiff University is a 1-year program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This program also available on a part-time basis for a duration of 3 years.
This one-year degree falls under the umbrella of the Data Science Academy (DSA), run by the School of Computer Science and Informatics, in partnership with the School of Mathematics.
This course incorporates project-based learning using real-world datasets and problems.
Some of the modules will be taught in the newly-renovated Turing Suite.
Students will be provided with a laptop during induction week that will remain with them throughout the duration of the course.
Students also gain valuable work experience on professional work placements and projects with leading industrial security practitioners.
This program will be accredited by BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.
Students will study taught modules for a total of 120 credits during the Diploma stage of their degree. All taught modules are worth 20 credits.
Modules are delivered through a series of either full or half-day contact sessions, which include lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and laboratory classes.
Modules will be assessed either by coursework, examination, or a combination of both.
The School of Computer Science and Informatics has a strong and active research culture that informs and directs the teaching.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants should have a good honours degree, or equivalent professional qualification in a subject such as Computer Science or a related subject can get admission in this program.
Applicants will possess a 2:2 honours degree in computer science, computing, or a cognate subject.
Students must be qualified in IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students will need successful completion of a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, with grades of approximately 55%-60% to qualify for the postgraduate courses.
Some schools will also require the successful completion of a relevant master's program from a recognized institution.
The Indian Standard XII English qualification from the following examination boards are accepted with a minimum score of 70%:
