Computer Science is an exciting and rapidly developing subject that offers excellent employment prospects and well-paid careers. Our degree teaches you the fundamentals of computer science as well as a broad range of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, including neural networks and evolutionary algorithms, which draw on philosophy and psychology.
Our programmes are taught by leading researchers who are experts in their fields.
The School of Computing at Kent is home to several authors of leading textbooks, a National Teaching Fellow, an IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) Fellow and two Association of Computer Machinery (ACM) award-winning scientists. Kent was awarded gold, the highest rating, in the UK Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students require 12 years of school education and successful completion of a school leaving certificate equivalent to UK 'A' Levels.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is required.
GCSE: Grade 4/C in English and Mathematics

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed their high school education from recognized institution.
Or, completed a Diploma in relevant field.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
