- Research activity is led by staff and our traditional research strengths lie in: Contemporary theatre and new writing; playwriting, directing and performer training; Russian theatre; Shakespearean performance and adaptation; Victorian and Edwardian theatre; the history of film; popular theatre; theatre history - Renaissance to 21st Century and theatre and science.
- The Drama and Theatre Studies from University of Birmingham postgraduates develop a very wide range of skills and qualities during their degree. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A good 2:1 honors degree or an equivalent qualification
- Applicants should hold a Masters qualification at merit level or above
- Any academic and professional qualifications or professional experience will be taken into account
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each band
- TOEFL: minimum 88 with 21 in reading; 21 in listening; 21 in writing and 22 in speaking
- PTE: 59 in all four skills
- Cambridge English: minimum 176 with 169 in each subskill
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a bachelors degree with a completed masters degree
- Minimum 60% required from a recognized university
