- Accounting is concerned with the provision of decision-useful economic information for both internal and external organizational stakeholders, through financial statements and budgeting.
- This degree is designed for students who intend to enter the accounting profession and as such contains considerable practical content, as well as essential theory and critical thinking skills, in the various specializations of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Finance.
- During their studies, they will also have the opportunity to develop interpersonal skills including communication, leadership, and team working, in order to lead people and manage change in organizations.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A minimum of a 2:2 Honours Degree provided any subject requirement
Indian students eligibility:
Applicants must have the following qualifications to be eligible for direct admission:
- Three A levels
- Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to their Bachelor's degree programs.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A-Level).
Applicants will normally need to demonstrate a level of English equivalent to 6.5 IELTS or 90 TOEFL IBT (Internet-based test). However, some degree programs have higher or lower requirements.
