- The Bachelor of Arts in Education with Spanish at Aberystwyth University is a full-time 3 years program.

- The Department of Modern Languages provides four hours of intensive language classes per week. These classes include writing/reading, aural, listening, and translation. These core linguistic classes will provide the foundation of developing fluency in the target language.
- The highlight of this course for many of our students is the year abroad. They will have the option to choose whether they would like to work (paid or unpaid work experience). Many students apply for the British Council Language Assistantship scheme which will see their work in a Spanish-speaking school in various Spanish-speaking countries. For students who prefer to study during their year abroad, they offer various placements with their partnered Universities across Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A-Levels BBB-BCC to include B in Spanish (unless to be studied as a beginner)
- GCSE requirements (minimum grade C/4): English or Welsh
- BTEC National Diploma: DDM-DMM to include B in A level Spanish (unless to be studied as a beginner)
- International Baccalaureate: 30-28 with 5 points in Spanish at Higher Level
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Standard XII Certificate from recognized central or state board:75 % in year XII Std.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
