Business Law is a fascinating subject, providing a detailed insight into the role of law in modern business practice. If students are interested in having a career in business, management, HR, commerce or government, or perhaps are intending to setting up their own business - the Business Law degree at St Mary’s will give students the foundation they need to be successful.
The Business Law programme - which can only be studied as a joint honours degree - is designed for students who do not necessarily want to become lawyers, but have an interest in law and want to develop a detailed understanding of its operation in the business environment. On the Business Law programme, students will study Law and one of the following subjects: Business Management and History.

Higher Secondary School Certificates, All India Senior School Certificate Examination (SSC) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) are acceptable for direct entry to undergraduate programmes. The grade requirement will depend on the exam board in India and the subject students are planning to study at St Mary's.
Normally the overall aggregate will be at least 60-65% depending on the exam board. Second year entry is possible for some degrees if students have completed year one of a relevant degree in India and any application would be assessed on a case by case basis.
