- The course follows three years of study, with an optional year in industry after their second year.
- The first year builds the foundations. Students will study digital electronics, algorithm design, computer networks, data manipulation, web fundamentals, and software design. By the end of this year, they’ll be thoroughly versed in the tools and techniques of the contemporary computer scientist.
- Year two gives students the tools. They’ll study control systems, embedded design, wireless and mobile communications, analogue electronics, human-computer interaction and application development, amongst other subjects. By the end of the second semester, they’ll be a very capable electronics and software developer, ready to turn their ideas into reality.
- Year three sets them on the path to their working life. They’ll looks at systems architecture and integration, artificial intelligence, applied electronics, machine learning and swarm concepts. The culmination of their three years is the final year project. Students will use it to showcase the skills that they have acquired throughout the course.

- Students holding a Standard XII/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Examination with an average of 60% across 5 subjects will typically be considered for direct entrance to Bachelor degree programmes.
- A Level minimum of BB or CDD.
- BTEC QCF Extended Diploma grade MMP, BTEC QCF Diploma grade DM
- Access to HE Diploma full award (Pass of 60 credits - of which a minimum of 45 credits must be at level 3 including 18 at Merit or Distinction).
