The aim of the Master of Science Economics and Finance is to produce highly skilled professionals who can analyze, understand and explain the complex economic and financial issues that arise in a globalized world.
Jointly delivered by the Departments of Economics and Accounting and Finance, students will study the interaction between economics and finance, which is now critical to understanding the world live in.
Training in these subjects will equip students for finding employment in the public or private sector as economists, analysts or consultants.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

For entry to Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, candidates should have a first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised institution or a minimum second-class Honours degree or overseas equivalent in any subject.
