Remarks :
The Admission process is as usual in the other colleges, Students may apply through TNEA counseling or else Management quota. There is no entrance exam for joining the SRIET. For Department wise selection the cut-off mark will vary year by year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm a Mechanical engineering student, if you like to study the physics and applicable maths behind any machine mechanical engineering is the only course to explore it. Faculty members are friendly as shown in the movies. Among 80% of the faculty from the mechanical stream are Ph.D. holders and some are pursuing. The way of teaching is just like in the movie manner, they only teach the basics of that concept, rest of the concepts are studied by the student because that tends to depend on those basics.

The department staff and admin are very helpful in acquiring a scholarship for each & every student to pursue. Campus Life :
For a year they conduct an annual fest that is the only function they conduct from the management side. The availability of books for reference is in the ratio of 1:3 and all the classrooms are engaged with projectors. The selection of the department plays a vital role in your enjoyment of the campus as shown in the movie every department has a unique mood of style and liberality as the usual mechanical stream is always engaging fun and stress-free but in the sense maintains regulation towards the studies and curriculum.
