Remarks :

The admission process was quite simple and easy. I applied via direct admission in which a general aptitude and english exam was conducted for entrance in which maximum marks were 100 and I scored 71 in it. The way to get admitted to computer science engineering was to score 60 and above. There were no ap-plication fees to apply and I applied online through the Pist site they called me and scheduled my entrance exam on the college premises only.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was in computer and technology related stuff from a very early age. Faculty here are well qualified mostly phd holders and master's graduates and the teaching method of the faculty is excellent as they focus more and more on academics. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:20.

Class Size : 66Course Fees : INR 180300 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internshuip opportunities are available with the college. Students from 6-7 semsester get eligible for the internship opportunities provided by the companies which come to college offering internships. A company named Autodesk provided 60k/month stipend internship opportunities to three of the students of the college. As I am in second year I am required to make a mini project in third semester of my engineering.

Placement Experience :

Placements provided by the college are decent with the average package of around 4lac per annum. Various companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Hexaware, etc. visit the campus and provide placements to the students. The highest package offered to date is 50lac per annum by Accenture. percentage of students getting placed ranges between 90-92%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees for B-Tech is 180300 per annum in which tution for AKTU comprises around 60%. There is no provision of scholarship by the college itself but the college promotes scholarships provided by the Uttar Pradesh government. There are fee waiver seats in the college too in which the total fee of B-Tech is 95000 per annum but fee waiver seat is applicable only while applying via the counselling process.

Campus Life :

The life at the campus is average. Social life is below average as there are so many restrictions imposed on students. There are various clubs in the college namely Igenioous- the photography club of the college, Algo Club- the coding club of the college, etc. All the classrooms and labs are air-conditioned and each with a projector for smart teaching. Sports and extracurricular activities are also promoted by the college as the college organises various competitions for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
