D.pharma or diploma in pharmacy, is a course recognised by AICTE and Pharmacy Council Of India and has a duration of 2 years which also includes 500 hours of practical training. A student who has passed his HSSC in the science stream is eligible to opt for this course. Application forms are available at the state directorate of technical education website along with all the notices regarding the admission process and dates of the same. reservation benefits can be availed as there are reserved seats for various categories. the admission process is smooth and student-friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

this is a year professional course that offers immediate job opportunities. The college has experienced faculty members in all its departments. most of them have pursued their PhDs. teaching method is apt and abiding by the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India and Goa University. term end exam happens at the end of each academic year.

Internships Opportunities :

for diploma students - 3 months or 500 hours of practical training at government-approved hospitals pharmacies or private pharmacies. for degree students - 1 month of industrial training or internship at government-approved pharmaceutical industries.

Placement Experience :

college has a placement cell inside the campus. placements are made. last semester students became eligible for placements. average package of around 3-4 LPA. i plan to work as a community pharmacist after completion of my course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is finance-friendly. Students can opt for various state scholarships eg Cipla scholarship. fee hike is generally not observed at least till the end of the duration of the course. A 50% fee concession can be availed on the basis of income below 8LPA.

Campus Life :

An annual fest is of 3-day duration named FORMULATIONS. the library is well-optimized with all the necessary amenities and sitting space. issuance of books is also very smooth and easy. classroom lacks proper ventilation and are a bit confused. benches are old and projectors don't have independent remotes. just a few sports activities happen on campus as the campus has a very small area. No social groups or clubs exist.
