Those students who got 10.0 GPA in ssc public examination are eligible to apply for the 6 year's integrated btech course offered by RGUKT's.Backward and Rural background students are highly preferred during the selection process The application process is online based . Full details about the application process has been updated in college official website rguktn.ac.in Those applicants who have reservation may be selected for the university even though they got 9.8 or 9.7 GPA Admission process is very simple those who are selected they called for counseling. During counseling they verify our certicates and grant our admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college because of it offers 6 years integrated btech course with low fees as compared with other colleges.Due to my families financial background I choose this college. Faculty are very highly designated. All the faculty are mostly persuing PhD and Mtech in IIT's . Teaching is very good . First two years considered as pre University course and it consists of 4 semesters ,each semester lasts for 6months . In 4 years btech course which consists of 8 semesters.exam pettern has 3 mids and one end semester examination
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the students of 3rd btech get chances to do internships in lots of companies from small scale to large scale. Credits provided for the internships and miniprojects . For our chemical department most of our seniors got internship oppertunities in hetero,ITC etc...
Placement Experience :
From btech 3rd year second semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS,Vipro, Microsoft,ITC,Hetero chemicals, Deccan fine chemicals..these are for our chemical department and lots of companies are there for other departments like CSE,ECE,EEE etc.. Average highest package is 8-10 LPA . For our chemical department it is on average 6-8 LPA . Nearly 40 percent of students were placed every year in popular companies . My plan is to work in PSU's like ONGC,IOCL,GAIL etc...
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first two years the fee structure is Tution fee - 40000per annum and hostel &mess fee -27000.Those who are eligible for fee reimbursement should pay mess fee only, tution fee is reimbursed by the government. I got JVD scholarship so I need to pay for mess fee only
Campus Life :
In Rgukt students were provided with laptops and free wifi in classroom so there are lots of sources to explore ourselves Central library is the most attractive part of our college lots of books are available for core subjects as well as competitive examinations. Class room environment is very good There are lots clubs and social groups are Available like student Mitra,SDCAC etc... which provides a good platform for the students to explore themselves. And one more exciting thing about RGUKT Nuzvid is teckzite which is a technical fest conducted every year in the month of April and Cygnus in may. Student activity centre is there you will find lots of indoor games, interaction sessions and large playground for cricket,football and large indoor stadium for basketball and batmenton.
Hostel Facilities :
We are provided with 1cot,1bed,1pillow and two blankets.Room cleaning staff were available daily in the hostels for cleaning rooms and washrooms and good water facility in the hostel Talking about the mess and meals , we are satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the food the caterers providing us .They serves us morning tiffins like idly,vada,bajji,upma,dosa and afternoon lunch has two types of curries along with rasam and curd.Evening snacks like pakoda,samosa,senagalu , popcorn etc . Night dinner has one curry ,banana ,sambar and curd ... chicken biryani for twice a week
