Remarks :
I am a Diploma student so I applied for the ECET examination where every diploma student can join BTech by attempting and passing the exam. ECET exam is of 200 marks with Maths comprising 50 marks, Physics 25, Chemistry 25, and Core 100 marks concerning the student stream. We can find the ECET application on the SBTET website and the fee is 500/-. Caste Reservation Benefits are there in this exam where SC, ST, and OBC have a reservation basis. In my view, this has to be eliminated because many students suffer a lot due to the unavailability of seats for the higher castes such as OC. Due to this many talented students suffer a lot as their competition is higher but the availability of seats is low. Talented people didn't have a scope to improve their capabilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it is essential and linked to every department. After all, technology mainly depends on it as the machines that are run by the latest technologies need mechanical brains. In my college faculties are IITians and NIITians and they are highly qualified in their streams and have completed their Ph.D. For every 15 students, one faculty is comprised in my college. I like their teaching methods as they use modern methods like teaching in projectors and labs. Our HOD sir brings outside people who are succeeding in their stream for the seminar so that we the students learn more things and get inspired from them. If we learn and listen to the classes regularly there is no gear of exams. We can score more percentages than the average score. Our teachers help us in the time of semester exams and that will help us to learn more and score more.
Placement Experience :
After completing the 3rd year all students can apply for the Campus Placements but the students who have cleared their semesters with zero backlogs are eligible for attending the campus placements. My college had the highest package of 45LPA and the average package is about 3LPA. The percentage of getting placements for the students is about 80% and some of them are preparing for the government exams and some are with business. I am planning to go for higher studies and learn more knowledge and get the higher package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college fees are about 85000/- per year 54500/- for the course and 25000/- is for the building fund. I feel irritated by listening to the college fees when I compare it to the other colleges there is a lot of difference in the fee structure of the building fund. But after consulting the sir in the ANITS college and I understand why they charge such a huge amount and I joined the college because of its quality of education. Our college has the highest package of 40LPA and the average package of 3LPA and at present, I am preparing for the campus drive placement. Our college doesn't provide any internships but they used to take us the industrial trips.
Campus Life :
My college used to conduct its Annual Fest every year and it is celebrated grandly this fest, all used to participate in all types of cultural events and technical events. Tech Fest is also conducted at the time of the Annual Fest. My college has a Central Library and it is vast in engineering books as well as the availability of journals in the library but rules are somewhat strict on the students regarding the books. The classroom is peaceful and it helps students to study. My college has a small playground which is not suitable to play for more students but the indoor games hall is better when compared to the outdoor games. Our college has many clubs namely U TOO CAN, AMEA, ECELL, etc. which are useful for the students to increase their skills.
