Remarks :
After completing the Intermediate we have to apply the EAPCET exam to join the BTECH. EAPCET is of 150 marks which is comprising of Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Out of 150 the student must secure 40 in order to qualify the exam. The application fees for the exam is 600 ruppees. The exam has Reservation Benifits. It has SC , ST caste reservations as well as OBC caste reservation too. Each cast has alloted no of seats to it. In my view what government should improve is to reduce to caste reservations as many students are suffering from this. We are studying harder to secure good rank to join the best Enginnering college but our caste had alloted few seats in well reputated colleges. In my view all are equal so the system has to chance regaring the seat allotment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choseb this course beacuse technology is merely depends on it. Without mechanical Engineering no technology can build any machine. Technology needs a machine to upgrade it. For every 20 students there is one faculty in my college. They are highly educated in IIT's, NIIT's and completed their PHD's too. They are teaching us in smart projectors so that we are easily capable of understanding the concepts. Every semester had a duration of 5 months and we used to have 2 mid examinations in it where we all will read for that exam. There is no difficult to pass and even we higher marks.
Placement Experience :
After completing the 3rd year all students are eligible for the campus placements. Only students who had zero backlogs are eligible for it. Many companies are visiting our college for recruiting the students. The highest packages is about 45LPA and the lowest package is of 2.5LPA. Around 85% of students are getting placements every year. Amazon, Google, Pinaclle, Vem Technologies etc.. companiesare approaching our college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For my stream it costs about 85000. But the government providing Scholarships to us in the scheme of "JAGANANNA VIDYA DEEVANA" where it 54500 ruppes is paid to the college and remaining 25000 has to be paid by us. I felt bad about it earlier at the starting of my college as other colleges charge oly 5 to 10k for building fund while our college charges 25k every year. Later I realised why they are charging such amount. There is no additional fees we paid in every year irrespective of 25k.
Campus Life :
Every year one Annual Fest will be celebrated and it is grandly celebrated. Tech fest is also celebrated in terms of Annual Fest only. My college has clubs which are run by students suchs as U TOO CAN club in which every month events are being conducted. Library is available where we get access to the books and journals we want and my college has Digital library where we can access computer resource too. We have AC seminar hall in which all departmental events are conducted. Sports is also available in it but the play ground is too small when compared to other colleges. NCC and NSS are available in my college, interested students can join them.
