I passed class 10 from Dav public school Kalyanpur then I appeared for the jexpo entrance exam and got the rank 218 then I chose a diploma in mining engineering at Asansol Polytechnic College at the first counselling list.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because I want to adventure the Earth from the inside. Faculties were very helpful and always gave us internships. Approx all the faculties have higher qualifications. There are two internal exams every 1.5 to 2 months and every five to six months semester exams are held
Placement Experience :
Students after going to 3rd year after going to 5th semester the students are eligible for the campusing process. Several companies of different branches come to our college campus like Tata Mining for mining students mital JSW and other's company highest package is 45,000. Students who get above 60% marks are eligible to sit at campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are normal not so high but it is high for poor students. Swami Vivekananda scholarships were given to students who have passed the previous course from the West Bengal board and for SC students OASIS scholarships were given
Campus Life :
After every 2 years, a reunion gets together programme is held and it's a great opportunity for the students to meet their seniors and get campus. After some intervals cricket or football tournaments are held
