Review written with honesty and sincerity

Remarks :

The admission takes place through a competitive exam, called "Jenpauh". The application forms for the exam are published on the official site named www.wbuhs.com. the eligibility is a 10+2 passed or equivalent examination completion certificate from the science stream with Physics, chemistry, biology and English as compulsory subjects. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. But there are many reservations available, like SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B etc. I would like to see if there are some benefits for general candidates as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good. We have to perform clinical duty in hospital from 8 am to 1 pm every day from Monday to Friday. From 1 pm to 2 pm, there is lunchtime. And from 2-4 pm, there are theory classes and presentations. The faculties are extremely knowledgeable, skilful, and experienced. They help us in every aspect of clinical as well as theoretical field. The faculty and student ratio is 5:54 . The qualifications of them are MSc nurse. Their teaching method is very good, understandable and easy to remember. In 1 year there are 2 semesters. In each semester there are 2 internals or term tests. The question pattern is good and according to the syllabus. The tests are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

After completion of the 3.5-year course, there will be an internship for 6 months. During the internship, students are given duties in different wards in the hospital. And a monthly amount of 5000 rupees was given to them. All the students passing from the college will do the internship here and get the stipend. The intern nurses get posted in different wards, like medicine, surgery, and psychiatry wards. There they will administer medication, monitor patients' condition, communicate with their family members, with physicians and perform many other functions as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Overall the course affordability is good. The monthly fee is 450, which is affordable. The fee structure is the private sector of a BSc nurse is around 20000 and in the government sector, it's around 35000. There are many scholarship options for students in need, like Swami Vivekananda scholarship, aikhashree scholarship etc. I don't receive any scholarship or financial assistance. There are no campus jobs provided by our college. After completion of the 3.5-year course, there will be 1/2 year internship, in which the stipend is almost 5000. I don't receive any stipend as I'm a 2 nd year student.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is good and enjoyable. There is no annual fest of tech fest that occurs in our college. But aside from the annual fest or clubs, there are many programs arranged every year like Freshers and Farewell of seniors, Saraswati puja etc. which help us to involve ourselves in social activities. There is 1 library in our college. There are huge variety of books in the library and anyone with a student identification card can avail of the books. The amenities in the classroom include smart technologies, like a projector, availability of laptops, boards, OHP etc. There take place Annual sports day in our college in January. There are many games included like tug of war, skipping, 100-meter race etc. There are no such social groups or clubs for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As there is huge scope for a job that's why this course has been chosen. here the faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:50. All the faculty are Mastered on different special subjects. and the teaching method is good, actually, it varies from teacher to teacher. The 3-time exam is held in semesters. 1 term test and 1 University. the theory exam is moderate level but the practical is tough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the nursing course as it offers decent job security. The faculty-student ratio is actually not maintained we should have more teachers. All the teachers who teach us are having Msc. Degrees in nursing and some of them are phd.s. term exams are on time 2 internal and one university exam in one semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Just because of job facilities The no of faculty members is very short. MSc, M.phil, PhD but they need some improvement in providing education. Some of them are not capable of teaching properly. Term tests are held once in 2-3 months, not so difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers are also good they are very helpful but very strict. We learn a lot from them. For 50 students 3 teachers are there. they have also done BSc MSc nursing and some of them are PhD holders.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've taken this course to become a good nurse and to treat people. The faculty: student ratio in our college is 1:3. The qualifications of the faculties are high and they teach us very well. The exams are semester-wise and quite decent types of questions are provided in the exam hall, if you studied well then you'll score well in your exams.
