Remarks :
I had to appear for the Design Aptitude Test and PI. The application form is available both online and offline. I have not availed of any reservation quota. The admission process was smooth and the exam coordinators were very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Globally recognized degree and it is also UGC approved, they have lots of tie-ups with international colleges and universities. Plenty of fully equipped labs and workshops are there where one can learn and explore new ideas. It has multiple libraries and stationary shops on the campus. Almost all the faculty members have international degrees from top-tier foreign colleges and they are highly experienced and helpful. The exams were conducted semester-wise and one should study properly to get good scores.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies like Fabindia, titan, etc. came for internships and placements. I learned the nitty gritty of how big companies work during my internship which helped me a lot during my final placement. It was a great experience overall.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Students can opt for campus placement or start their own businesses. The placement department always helped and guided us to choose the best option for each student. They helped me to get ready for job interviews. average package ranges from 10-12L.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Course fees were around 16 lakhs excluding the hostel and nothing extra was charged to me during the entire course. I got no I got placed in Arvind through campus placement. The placement team helped us a lot to prepare for the interviews.
Campus Life :
The annual fest's name is VIAJE and it is conducted between December to Feb every year. All the books and journals are available in the library, they also have a digital portal where one can search for any books required. All the classrooms are smart classrooms. All kinds of sports are been played by the students of the college, there are many inter and intra-college tournaments organized throughout the year. The university has a Student council and they organize all the events that take place on campus some of the notable events are Ahm Design Week, Youth Parliament, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms had all the necessary facilities. They were spacious and had AC. Meal quality was quite good too. The menu has plenty of options. The locality is peaceful and most of the things are available on campus. They have an ATM and a big shopping mall on the campus. All the academic and day-to-day amenities are available on campus so no worries.
Interview Experience :
It was a 2 Tier evaluation process that included DAT, situation test, and portfolio evaluation. I had taken coaching from an institute for 1 year and there I was prepared for the entire process and it was helpful.
