Remarks :

The eligibility for the course is like we should have around 60% in our undergraduate. You can find the application form on the Karunya website. There was no entrance exam. Once the application form is accepted we have to fill in our basic details in the application form for further process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically am interested in biology so I chose Biotechnology as my undergraduate, and wanted to pursue my master's in Science in biotechnology itself. The student-faculty ratio is 20:25. All the faculty are PhD graduates.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There will be two projects we have to handle while doing the masters, in the first semester there will be a mini project and in the last semester, there will be a final semester project which you can do outside the karunya.

Placement Experience :

From the third semester students are eligible to attend the placements. The highest package is around 8 lakh per annum and the average package is around 3 lakh per annum. After getting the degree my plan is to pursue the Phd degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of the university was like this course fees were around 36000 and hostel and mess fees were 40000. so, in total for one semester, the fee will be around 80000. So for two years, it will cost around 4 lakh rupees.

Campus Life :

There will be an annual fest at the time of Christmas where there will be a fest also in the hostel mess. All subjects books are available at the library, there is one central library and the department library where all the books are available. There are different club activities such as Nature, Kala, Rotaract Club, NSS, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room was provided with a bed cott, table and chair. They will provide three times food with evening snacks. The registration process will be easy. you just have to go to the warden's office and submit your ID card and they will allow you a room and mess type veg or non-veg.

Perfect place for women to explore and gain knowledge

Placement Experience:

The placements were good enough. Everyone will be placed in at least one Of the companies. For UG it will be by the final year starting. For pg 2nd year starting or may be in the mid of 1st year. 95 % of students will get placed. I plan to work in a reputed company.

MSc microbiology is a very good course and very good job opportunities abroad and in other states. Faculty members are very experienced staff professors on the campus very current scientists working and teaching at this university and professors all of them extreme teaching and research knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected this course because I have quite an interest in microbiology and then I more stronger in this core. The school of biological science has a good amount of faculty on campus. Mostly all the faculty in MKU completed their postdoc in a highly reputated institute most in abroad, so the way they teach is pretty good. The examination system is quite linear and easy to pass I give a rating of 8/10 Pros are they give full freedom on your project, they spend most of the time with you and your project.

Review of my college day

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very interesting and all of my friends and faculty members are so Friendly. My ambitious and well growth department is the reason I took the course. 55 students in each class. Good teaching skills. 6 months once the exams were conducted and in between 2 internal exams were conducted. And it is an easy way to pass the exam.
