Life at IIT BHU

Remarks :

Of course, to get admission you need to crack jee advanced. 75% marks in 12th boards are necessary and 75% attendance is a must. To avail of reservation benefits you need to submit your caste certificate. If you are from OBC-NCL an affidavit has to be submitted. By this, you can get free remission in institute fees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The chemical engineering branch is considered to be a good branch in terms of course load. I took this department as I am interested in thermodynamics which is studied in great detail in this course. The faculties are world-class my chemistry professor has worked with Nobel prize winner chemists. Maybe IIT BHU is the first to take mid-semester so early. But they were not too hard to clear.

Placement Experience :

Freshers need not worry about placements as the highest in our department was 1.9 CR and the average package was 20 lac per annum. You can also get internship opportunities too. If I talk about my department last year placement was 100%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is 200000/ year. However, you can avail reservation benefits. If you are from SC/ST, your total tution fee is not applicable. And there are some benefits for OBC. You can avail of scholarships like the reliance scholarship and almost every state government gives some scholarships also.

Campus Life :

Our annual fest is Kashiyatra which is the biggest in Asia. IIT BHU is the one having the most greenery. Peaceful environment helpful seniors. We have a full air-conditioning library. There is a newly built sports center which. We have a gym, swimming pool, boxing ring, and all other major sports.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good but needs to be improved. Although mess food is quite awesome. You get an ample amount of food there is no limit. The process of registration is quite smooth. Freshers are allotted Aryabhatta hostel which is a little older but from the second year, you get a newly built hostel.

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

Placement to college is average but there are many students who have not been placed in BBAU. From 3 years students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do M.tech.

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
