Remarks :
First of all to get admission into Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology. We need to have a PCM Background in our 10+2. After completing 10+2 we have to write TS EAMCET. Through Counselling we can select the Preferred Course from the College. Based on our TS EAMCET Rank we will get a seat in the College. Of course, there are some Reservation Benefits such as 35,000 Rupees of Fee Reimbursement for OC and OBC Category Students. Upto 1 Lakh of Fee Reimbursement for SC and ST Category Students. As of now, the admission process is very smooth. So from my side, I am not expecting any Improvements in the admission Process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From my childhood itself, I have been very much interested in Cars. During high school itself, I decided to do Engineering that to in Mechanical Engineering. The faculty and Students ratio is 1:60 means for every 60 Students there will be one Faculty to deal with. In our Department, we have around 5 to 6 Professors who have their Ph.D., and the rest of them have done their Masters. The teaching style of most of the Professors is good and they are friendly in nature. There will be 5 to 6 months of Gap between each term exam. The difficulty level of exams depends on the students.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th Semester, students are eligible for on-campus placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, HCL, and many more will visit the Campus to offer various Vacancies to Students. Packages offered here ranging from 4 Lpa to 25 Lpa. Most of the students were offered Junior Developers, Associates, and Software Engineer roles. Around 50 to 60 Percent of Students are getting placed. I am planning to get a Job from Startup Company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For me to do a Mechanical Engineering Course It Costs around 2,50,000 rupees. The total tuition fee for the Course is 83,000 per year. But in my case, I got 35,000 rupees per year of fee reimbursement. Students belonging to OBC, SC, and ST Categories will get the Scholarship amount between 5 to 10k per Year. I have not participated in any of the Career fairs held in our College. Because I already had an Internship with me.
Campus Life :
Annual fests like DJ Night and Annual Day will be held in the month of February. Tech fests from the Mechanical, EEE, and ECE Departments will be in the Month of January. We have a complete building for the Library various books, ebooks, journals, and Newspapers will be available. Most of the classrooms will have Smartboards with good ventilation and sunlight. We have a Basketball court and Indoor Games to play after Classes. There are good numbers of Student Clubs to join.
