Remarks :

During that time admission was done based on the class 12th marks in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. To enroll in this course you have to be from a science background. Now the process has been changed. NTA is arranging the CUET exam and based on the mark you will get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I have been interested in agriculture since my childhood as I am from a farmer's family. And I want to make significant changes in agriculture to contribute to my country. Faculty members are very helpful. Every year 2 semesters are done with 11 subjects in each semester. If you truly love to study agriculture it will be very easy to pass the exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost is also very low. 2580 is required for 1 year and hostel fees differ in caste. If you are General or OBC you have to pay 300-500 per month and for others, it's free of cost. You can also get a scholarship named SVMCM which provides financial assitance. The amount is 18000 per month.

Campus Life :

Annual fees are very low at 2580. Semester fee-350. Classrooms are also very good with digital boards. All the sports are played by students. Inter-year football and cricket are done every year. There is also some dance, song, and recitation group which helps us for social enhancement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing a Bsc. Agriculture as I came to know about the job opportunities associated with it. Faculty: The student ratio is poor because of a lack of recruitment in this sector for a long time. Quality of teaching is average because there are a limited number of teachers who could inculcate our interest in this subject through their good teaching methods. Others were just presenting slides and reading out the lines written on them. Random announcement of exams was frequent with only 40 percent syllabus completed in 3 months and 60 percent syllabus completed only 10 days before the exam. Moreover, there were midterm, endterm, and viva throughout 1 month and it was very hectic due to continuous 33 exam papers conducted at a time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

India is an agriculture-dependent country where more than 70% of the people are involved in agriculture and allied sectors, there is a huge scope for improvement and modernization. The faculty and profs are very helpful, no extra tuition is needed, library is available. Exams are not that punctual but moderately easy to pass.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus Placements. Various Seed Companies Fertilizers companies and many other private companies are visited and various offers are made. The highest Package was 720000 per annum and the average package was 480000 per annum. About 30 to 40 percent of students are getting placements.
