Remarks :
The admission process was a bit confusing as I had some problems understanding the upward movement in it and there was no one to explain. I gave JEE Mains and applied by RTU also the reporting date was not mentioned clearly and they just informed us 4 days before that when we have to report, so it was a bit confusing. I just searched on the internet and the site of RTU for the application details. I want that everything to be clearly mentioned regarding the process so that we don't have to worry afterward about the dates and process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science is a subject that is practical but our curriculum is more theoretical which is disturbing. I had an interest in computers that's why I chose Computer science. Faculty: student = 1:10 as our class strength is 60 and we have many such sections. The majority of Faculty had their Master and some have done Ph.D. as well but those are very few. Some teachers are very good and practical and understand the subject type but the Majority of them are involved in school-type teaching. We have our exams on monthly basis and their difficulty level is average.
Placement Experience :
After 6th semester we can sit in placements. Mass recruiters mainly visit such as Infosys, TCS, etc. Low-paying offers are more as compared to high ones. The highest package is around 20 lacs and the average is 6 lacs. Around 60% of students get placed. To look for placements and also complete my masters from a better college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It is a private college so fees are somewhat okay but hostel fees are high as they do not serve that level of food and facilities. There are some scholarships for the students who have excellent percentile in JEE and those who belong to the financially weaker section. There are placement opportunities but no internship opportunities with a stipend, they do provide basic internships only.
Campus Life :
Our campus life is more like school as we have many restrictions and a uniform. We have our annual fest named Pravah and there is no tech fest. Pravah is conducted mainly in February. There are enough resources in our library. Our classrooms have projectors in the name of facilities other than there is nothing, we only have fans with no cooler or AC, also there are no curtains due to projectors. There are enough opportunities in sports and clubs but they are not managed properly. All the clubs are handled by students with the guidance of teachers and they are for students only.
