Remarks :
I joined Srm University AP through an AP eamcet called EAPCET. I got a 12k rank. Since I was from the OBC category i got an ECE branch. Those who applied in the 2nd round and 3rd round who had 12k rank to 14k rank got CSE in my college. I was interested in ECE so I didn't move on to CSE. If you are from a general background you have to get around 4k to 7k. If ur from an sc, st background u have to get a 13k to 18 k rank. These are for cse . If you want to pursue ECE in general it is around 5kto 8k, bc 9k to 12k, sc and st 19k to 25k also. Based on the candidates who applied.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose ECE. I don't know anything about ECE, but after getting into this, I get to know about ECE. The faculty was awesome. Few are international faculty. Most faculty are professors. Every faculty has a minimum experience of 5 to 7 years. For every 60 students, there will be a faculty. Most of the teachers teach in a good way with modern technology. Making PPTs and practical methods. For every six months, there will be the sem exam. For every sem, there will be one mid-exam. If you study well I will definitely pass. But if you didn't do anything then you may fail. Some faculty were very strict regarding class attendance, behavior, and classroom rules.
Internships Opportunities :
Most internships for college will not given by our college. Most of the internships will be given by the advisory of faculty and with the help of the faculty. Most internships are done on their own. But help will definitely given by the faculty of are college. Summer internships are given by the college.
Placement Experience :
We will get placements from the 6th onwards. There is a good opportunity for students who want to study abroad. The highest package is 40 lakh lowest is 5 lakh I think. 100% of placements are there. The average salary is 7LPA. I want to pursue MTech in IIT.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Since I got these colleges through eamcet it was very good because of 70k tuition fees ur getting this college. For the hostel, the hostel fees will be based on ur room sharing. It starts from 1lakh and ends at 2lakhs for a year. 2 sharing ac to 10 sharing ac are there. Most of the students are getting placed. I think 10% to 15 % are going to higher studies. Most of the students are going to very good companies with an average salary of 7LPA.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is so good. Everywhere u will find trees. The infrastructure was so good. Classrooms are digitalized. This year means from the 2023 academic year they introduced credits for extracurricular activities and community service. You can join any club there are nearly 50 clubs. For every club, there will be a faculty advisor. Few clubs will be very active and few are not. For every one month, there will be an event. Once a year, there will be a tech fest and research day.
