Remarks :

For admission one has to appear for JEE MAINS to pursue BTech from NiTs, IIITs, and GFTIs. To get into IITs one has to appear for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Mains. The application form is released on Jeemains.nta.ac.in and application fees vary for different categories.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm very passionate about mechanical engineering that is why I have choosen it. The faculty-to-student ratio is generally 40:1. The faculties here are highly qualified and research-oriented. They have very deep knowledge of their subjects. The mid-semester exams(15 marks each)happen thrice a semester and you have to appear in two out of three. And the End-sem of 50 marks is conducted. Similarly, viva voice and practical examinations are conducted from time to time.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship Facilities are top-notch in NITK. Most of The MNCs that visit IITs also visit NITK. Apart from SDE role internships core as well as Data science internships are provided. On campus, the domestic Highest stipend is around 150000 per month.

Placement Experience :

Campus Placements in NIT are decent. Most of The top-notch MNCs like Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, etc. visit during placement sessions. Apart from the SDE role Other core companies and PSUs like BPCL, and BEL also visit the campus regularly. Placements and Internships opportunities are Top Notches in NIT K.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

NiTs have less tuition fees as compared to IITs.The institute provides numerous scholarships, and financial assistance every semester to needy students. The scholarships have different criteria like family income, no active backlogs, etc. The Alumni Association also provides scholarships in NITK.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is the best. Cultural fest i.e. confluence and Technical Fest i.e. Techspardha and sports fest are organised every year. The technical fest helps students to gain practical knowledge as well. Inter-hostel competitions and Inter NIT IIT tournaments are also organized by the institute. NiT kkr. Has several clubs and societies for every individual. Some of them are Mechsoc,SAE, MAD,ELAD, HLAD, IIC etc. More than 25 clubs and societies are present at NIT kkr. For the overall personality development of an individual. The institute also has a Thought Lab for meditation.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms of hostels have all the basic facilities required for an individual including A Bed, an almirah, a fan, a study table, and a chair. The hostel mess is good, equipped with ACs, and nutritious food is served. The mess fees are around 30000 per semester and 4500 electricity bill.

The IIIT Review

Placement Experience:

4th year students according to me become eligible for college placements. IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023 recorded 78.79% placements. Out of 99 eligible students, 78 students were placed with 117 offers. IIIT Sonepat highest package increased by about 3% to INR 52 LPA whereas IIIT Sonepat's average package increased by 18% to INR 16.51 LPA. Recruiters like Amazon, Jio, Woovly, Deloitte, Juspay, Yamaha etc participated in IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023. I plan To Do an M.Tech from IIT through the GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

I' m from a civil branch so obviously placement opportunities but a student still manages to get placement in companies like TCS on the basis of coding culture. CSE and ECE students need to just cross 7-8 CGPA for sitting in placement cells and based on their interviews their packages depend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curricula are based on providing technical skills as well as fundamental theories. All faculty members are very good and provide good education to students but some are like okay, because they do not take their classes regularly. I chose this course because I am interested in the technical part as well as the software part of machines. The student-teacher ratio of all the courses in this college is like 1 teacher for 60 students. Most faculty members have master in their degrees and the teaching methods of some teachers are very good but some are very bad.
