Remarks :

I am studying at NIT Kurukshetra, I opted for btech in mechanical engineering. The admission process was taken based on the merit of JEE mains which is conducted by NTA. There are reservations for women, SC /ST, and some benefits are given to OBC candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for this course because I wanted to pursue automotive engineering. The college provides ample opportunities in this subdivision the faculty and student ratio is quite sufficient. And the faculties are highly qualified each holding PhD degree from a top institute.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies came like Microsoft, Infosys, and JP Morgan to our college and provided internship opportunities to students at various pay scales starting from 20,000 to 100,000. To grab an internship students should must maintain better GPAs. Projects are also given under the professor's guidance.

Placement Experience :

Many companies visit our college such as Microsoft, Infosys, and Samsung. Provide PPO to students doing internships in their company. Last year there was 80 percent placement from our college. Rest students try for off-campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The overall expenses[ including your personal expenses ] may reach up to 2.5 lakhs per year. If your family income is less than 5 lakhs per year or you belong to the SC or St category then there are a number of scholarships available in Curiculam. Also, the institute provides ample opportunities for a paid internship.

Campus Life :

Campus life is amazing, lots of places to visit in Kurukshetra as well as campus is too large about 300 acres. Confluence is our fest which is north India's largest fest. Many clubs are here to join some are very exciting sae, e-cell, mad, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Overall review of the hostel facility is normal because this is a government institute providing according to their budget. Mess food is not good as compared to it's. PG is also available near the college.

The IIIT Review

Placement Experience:

4th year students according to me become eligible for college placements. IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023 recorded 78.79% placements. Out of 99 eligible students, 78 students were placed with 117 offers. IIIT Sonepat highest package increased by about 3% to INR 52 LPA whereas IIIT Sonepat's average package increased by 18% to INR 16.51 LPA. Recruiters like Amazon, Jio, Woovly, Deloitte, Juspay, Yamaha etc participated in IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023. I plan To Do an M.Tech from IIT through the GATE exam.

My life at DCRUST

Placement Experience:

I' m from a civil branch so obviously placement opportunities but a student still manages to get placement in companies like TCS on the basis of coding culture. CSE and ECE students need to just cross 7-8 CGPA for sitting in placement cells and based on their interviews their packages depend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curricula are based on providing technical skills as well as fundamental theories. All faculty members are very good and provide good education to students but some are like okay, because they do not take their classes regularly. I chose this course because I am interested in the technical part as well as the software part of machines. The student-teacher ratio of all the courses in this college is like 1 teacher for 60 students. Most faculty members have master in their degrees and the teaching methods of some teachers are very good but some are very bad.
