Remarks :
JEE mains exam is required to get admission into the Btech course of NIT Kurukshetra. The cutoffs and trends for previous years can be checked on the NTA JEE Mains website. Reservation categories like EWS, OBC, and SC/ST can get a more lenient cutoff and in some cases a concession in course fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to its proximity to my home location and my interest in Mechanical Engineering. Most teachers are nice and enthusiastic about their subject and field and highly accomplished. A shortage of teachers is rarely experienced in the Btech classes here. The exams are nearly every 1.5 months, 2 mid sems and 1 final examination.
Placement Experience :
Almost 85 percent of all students get placed every year, the number being slightly higher for CoE, ECE, and IT. The average package is 12 LPA and the highest this year was 44 LPA to three students in different branches. My plan is to get placed in an automobile giant after my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike is not significant for now and being an esteemed government college, financial assistance is provided for those with not the most resources. The tuition fee, which mostly comprises the course fee can be greatly concessed depending on your family income. For those between 1 lach and 5 lach, almost 66 percent of the tuition fee is relaxed.
Campus Life :
The classrooms are well-equipped and well-constructed. The Lecture Hall Complex has echo-proofed walls for efficient lectures. The library holds more or less anything, ANYTHING you'll need during your course or for entrance exams, philosophy books, novels and many more. The sports activities are much promoted to the point that many teams from our college have gotten the podium treatment in inter-college tournaments.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are clean and well-ventilated. The bathrooms are very clean and sanitized every day. Mess food takes a backseat among all this because the food quality is often expected to decline when 100s of students are to be fed 3 times a day, regardless extras are provided as required and meals have much variety throughout the week.
