Remarks :
Admission are done through JEE only and student is required to have min 75% in board exams. There is a 50% reservation for Haryana students and category reservation is also present. a student must have a rank better than 35000 to get into mechanical Engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had an interest in machines so I opted for mechanical engineering. The faculty ratio is quite good as compared to other colleges in lecture 1 teachers entertain 80 students and in practice, subgroups are made of 20 students each.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are generally done in the 6th sem but if someone approaches companies they could do internships from the 2nd year Also stipend is near 15k-100k varying with job type and companies. If a student is talented he can easily find a job himself.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to sit in placement from the 7th sem and the interviews go on throughout the year Also companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Zomato, and many others come and make offers. The highest package this year is 75 lakh and the average package is 11 lakhs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure depends on the income of the student's family for those below 1 lakh tuition fee is completely free, for 1 to 5 lakh 66% is free and above 5 lakh full fees are required. Approximately for general student btech is completed in 9 lakhs.
Campus Life :
Every year two fests are organised techspardha and confluence. There are a variety of clubs and societies which function all the year. The infrastructure is not up to the mark. The sports ground is available with a swimming pool and ncc and nss are also available.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are quite a descent but maintained is not done properly also the staff is many times not cooperating and rent is nominal but food charges are high and the food is not also of very good taste. The menu is completely decided by students but mess workers manage to make it worse.
