Course Curriculum Overview :
This course has huge potential in future. The student-faculty ratio is good for core branches as compared to non-core. The teachers are extremely qualified and have a very decent way of teaching. We have two mid-term exams and one end-semester exam in a semester (nearly 6 months). The exams are not that tough and you are evaluated on the basis of your understanding of the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities at NIT Kurukshetra can vary depending on your field of study and the specific departments or companies associated with the institute. The placement cell lets you know the companies. First, there was a 6-month internship programme in the 6th semester but now a 2-month internship is available in the 8th semester. The stipend may vary.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good. For computer science, you have a 22 lakh average package. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. This year's highest package was 40 lakh. Nearly 80% of students get placed. My plans are to apply in PSUs or Honda.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You have to pay nearly 70k as semester fees and you can get 100% fee concession if your family income is under one lakh. And for mess and hostel fees you need to pay nearly 33k-35k. My course is extremely affordable as average package for my course is 10.5 lakh
