Remarks :
One has to score a good AIR rank in jee mains under 25k. We have to fill application form available on the josaa website for admission to our respective courses. Yes, there are many types of reservations like home state sc/st, obc, so accordingly AIR will vary and you can get into this college. The admission process is too lengthy and it's an offline mode, student has to wait a whole day to improve this the admission process can be changed to online mode.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All teachers and lab assistants are well qualified and most of the lecturers are Ph.D. holders. The ratio in lectures is 1:60 and in lab is 1:30. the syllabus that was covered during my course was pretty related to senior secondary subjects. All the students usually study a day before the exam and help each other the whole night during exams. Late-night canteens are also available during exams. all semester has 6 subjects so in total whole course had 42 subjects. The majority of the subjects but some of the core subjects are electrical engineering need proper time and sitting.
Internships Opportunities :
We have two periods of internship in our college that is a summer internship with a time period of two months and in 8th sem which is optional and six months, the role offered is a software developer and at the end of the summer internship we have to show our project that is a minor project and in 8th sem, we have to show our major project and summer internship has 4 credits and 8th sem internship has 12 credits
Placement Experience :
In our college, we are eligible in the 7th semester to sit in the companies for campus placement. There are mainly software companies that visit our college for example Amazon, Google, Oracle, and Microsoft, and a student can avail of only one offer. The highest package is given by Google which is 63lakh ctc and the average is nearly 8 lakh, the placement percentage of our college is 94 percent, as I have got an offer from the company so I am joining them only.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every year the fees hike is nearly ten percent and our college is a government college so the fees are pretty less compared to private colleges so I can say the cost of the study is bearable, there are many scholarships available which are mainly on the basis on caste and I got on campus placement through our college and stipend I got was 20k.there are 3-4 banks in the campus which provide financial assistance and loan facility.
Campus Life :
There are two annual fests held in our college named utkansh and techniti and utkansh is conducted in March and techniti in September. Our library is pretty big so you can get any book, you will probably find over there the environment of the class is good the temperature is around 24 degrees which are good for sitting in class, there is every sport in our college and a student can participate in any sport, there are many clubs in our college like coding club and photography club.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel room is neat and clean and we have provided a fan in the room the meal quality depends on the hostel to the hostel so my hostel mess food quality is good and we have provided three meals in a day and also the snacks are available at 5 pm, the registration process is easy you see the room and can book that room if available, there is no locality nearby our college as our college is outside the city.
