I love agriculture college

Remarks :

In my higher secondary education, I have about 89 percent of my marks. So I decided to join the B.Sc.Agriculture course. My father also had the same decision and went counseling to in Coimbatore, where there is a large University for Agricultural studies. I applied for it and went for counseling. I went on 1st counseling but 3rd phase since I got low grades 89%.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Everything was good. Kindly behaving staff and good infrastructure and good education. I gained good knowledge about agricultural studies. The staff spent extra time with students who were very interested. The faculty is really nice.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very high even though I am a Counseling student. My tuition fee is just 40000 per year. But the fees of the hostel and mess are very high since I am from a middle-class family. I may 135000 p.y. and additional book fees.

Campus Life :

We celebrate every festival very grandly and very happily. We conduct Tamil man-dram, Talentia, Freedom, Freshers Day, etc. including festival programs. We dance and enjoy well and participate in all programs.

The placement percentage in The Gandhigram Rural Institute is very moderate, and only 50% to 60% of the students get placement every year. The last batch had 70 students out of which 40 got placed in the chemical companies. They provide a minimum salary of Rs. 15,000 for everyone who gets placed.
