Remarks :

To enrol in the Guru Gobind Singh University BCA course, you must have passed your 12th with 55 per cent and should have studied mathematics or computer as a subject, then you are eligible to take the IPU CET exam. You have to fill out the IPU CET BCA form from www.ipu.ac.in and pay the required application form fee which is 1500 and get the best marks you can score. The better the score the better your chances of getting into a better college. You can refer to the Arihant Exam Book of Preparation. It is more than enough for the IPU CET BCA exam. But you have to travel a lot the reach the examination centre as they are generally on the outskirts of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview :

So I didn't have that much interest in physics but I like computer programming, so I chose BCA as a graduation course as it is a professional degree and you can get adequate knowledge of software programming from it. The faculty ratio in Maharaja Surajmal was approx 50 boys and 10 girls. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and know in-depth about subjects and they are more than happy to solve our doubts. Exams were conducted by the university after 6 months at the end of the semester and at our college exams were conducted after 2 months from the start of a semester. To get more than 75% marks you have to just solve the previous year's questions and you will be able to pass any exams easily.

Internships Opportunities :

There were various companies that came to our college for placements. The best company that came to our college for internship was SAP Labs which came with a package of 15,0000 per month. It came for the role of software engineer trainee. All the students that were selected from the list had to work on the project given by the company

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for the placements from the 4th semester. Various MNCs come to our college for placements. Some of their names are Deloitte USI, Incedo, Accenture, Grape City, Coding Ninja, SAP Labs, Travclan, etc. Deloitte and Accenture took the most students 35-40 each. The highest package offered was 10 Lpa by Travclan. Almost 100% of students get placed here. My plan after BCA is to pursue MCA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is 105000 per year and it hikes variably but the quality of education you get here is quite worth it. Also, there are many scholarships for SC, ST, OBC and for students belonging to weaker sections which all are under state government policies. I got placed in an MNC Incedo with a stipend of 322000 per annum.

Campus Life :

Fests are conducted every year at our college around the month of April but no grand and big-name singers come here. They will usually tie up with local artists and they will perform on other singer songs. All books are present in our library and there are AC rooms also for studying. The classroom covers all the basic amenities but doesn't have any AC classes or something like that in the main building. Sports day is conducted every year in our college, anyone can participate in the sports day from the college. There are various clubs in the college like NSS, VIT, OCTAVE, TARQ, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because bca taught us or more focused on programming and it is also accepted in the IT field to work. The faculty was good but didn't teach you to have to do it on your own but they will be more lenient to you. The exams are conducted every semester in terms of every 6 months it is very easy to pass if you study daily.

I chose BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application) Because I want to learn about computer languages and make my career in the IT industry. The faculty is good and also alot of students. If you want to join distance learning there are no requirements for higher grades and higher annual fees but if you want the regular one fee structure is different and also needs some minimum requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is very good for bca so I choose it. The faculty is so great and very cooperative, always ready to help every student regarding studies and even any problem in college, faculty is great. There are 1 teacher to 35 students so students can enhance more information. Term exams were quite easy because teachers covered the entire syllabus according to the need of the exam so that it was not difficult to pass.
