DPSRU is a good place to study pharmacy

Remarks :

Admissions to B.Pharm is based on 12th board (PCB/PCM) marks for both Delhi and non-Delhi students with a minimum of 55%. The application form is released on the official website of DPSRU. Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST students as per government.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of my keen interest in biology and chemistry. The course offers exposure to multi-talented teachers and their experience in their respective fields. The student-to-faculty ratio is 30:1. The faculty here is well-qualified, trained and knowledgeable.

Internships Opportunities :

The college doesn't provide any internships. We've to find internships in hospitals or Pharmaceutical companies on our own. However, there are different units such as DIIF, the Centre for Precision Medicines, and Beauty and wellness centre.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good on our campus. Every year any students get selected for placement. Some of the companies which usually come for placements are Zyla, Cipla, Dabur, Mankind, TCS, etc. Most companies look for students with more than 60% in academics whole some even look for 70%. The average annual package offered is around 3.5lacs

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for B Pharmacy are not so high. Compared to other universities the fees are very less and nominal. The total fee for my course was around 1.5 lacs. There are many scholarships available for students from the college as well as an e-district portal.

Campus Life :

DPSRU doesn't host any fests like other universities however there are many cultural societies such as Fitoor, Malang, Verve, Paridrishya and Aakriti. There is also a Rotaract Club, which organises many events every month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because after Corona B.pharm had a big scope. Faculty is sufficient for each batch. Most Ph.D. interactive teachers give you ppt and you have to present the assigned topic. Mostly on time easy to pass.

I choose this course because I like chemistry and pharmacy is a field that is basically based on chemistry. The student to teacher ratio is about 30:1 . The teacher are highly qualified and are all PhD holders, the teaching method is an hybrid of using digital interface and conventional board , the exams are easy and hard at the same time it all depends on the preparation done by the student, if you didn't study everyday you'll have alot of trouble getting pass
