Remarks :

I scored 88% in my 12th along with a good 90+ percentile in my JEE Mains so it was easy to get into Btech CSE Core. I applied for this course through the GEU website. The college has too many Btech CSE students hence a total rush, to improve the quality they should increase the cut-off so cream students get in.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is moderate. They have very few faculties who are good and knowledgeable. But the student-faculty ratio is pretty high which is a concern as the chance of interaction of the faculty with each and every student is pretty less.

Internships Opportunities :

Paypal, IBM and Oracle have collaborated with our college and have installed labs on our campus as well. They even help students to teach new technologies and help them in building projects for those who are interested in these fields. They provide internships and give a stipend of around 20-30k per month.

Placement Experience :

Placements at our college are moderate. They focus mostly on the girls to get placed which is not a good thing and rather students should get placement options depending upon their skill set. 70 to 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest package is 54.8 LPA while the average is 5 LPA. Students are to sit for campus placements in the 6th or 7th semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is moderate. But they are increasing it annually pretty high. They provide scholarships for Army brats and for those having a good academic background. The campus provides jobs mainly for girls which prevent good coders from getting placed.

Campus Life :

Till now we have only seen the Summer fest which took place in the month of June 2021. There aren't any amenities in the classrooms as such but in summer it gets pretty hot so they should install a centralized AC system on the campus. There are many social groups and the social life on campus is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to explore how it industry works and I want to experience that once in my lifetime faculty is very good and supportive. I don't know much about qualifications but yes the should be sound in English as well as in Hindi teaching.

Graphic Era Hill University Review.

Placement Experience:

The placement of Graphic Era Hill University is quite good.The student become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. There are several renowned companies that visit the campus for placements including TCS, Wipro,Infosys, Amazon, IBM, Cisco, Zscaler, Capgemini etc The highest package offered was 40+lpa, while the average package is around 4-6lpa. The profiles offered varied from technical to non-technical, including software engineer, data analyst, web developer, marketing and sales executive etc. The percentage of students getting placements varies from course to course. However, on average aroung 70% of students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of the Shivalik engineering college is followed under Uttarakhand Technical University which is the state government university all the curricula are followed by the college from that University and the student ratio is very good in my college there are a good number of students in almost all branches qualification of professor and faculty very good and they are very well educated and from the good colleges and the teaching method are quite good.

Honest opinion of a Graphian

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester students have been given the opportunity to give placement exams to show their skills and get a placement however outside placements between semester is not allowed you have to consult through HOD to do so. The highest package so far from our college is 84.88 L. almost 100% of students get placed.

In terms of placement, it's one of the best private collage. After 6-semester student generally becomes eligible for placements. GEHU a good underrated college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BTech CSE because it's a growing field and has lots of scope in the future. GEHU has a lot of faculty for every 5-7 students one teacher is there at approx 1:5. And the faculty are well-qualified Ph.D. and some are from reputed IITs and there teaching methods are quite well. If you just study the teacher's main point and take their notes seriously you can pass exams.
