Remarks :

The college didn't conduct any entrance exams. But in order to join the college with a BBA course you need to have a minimum of 80%. After having the eligibility, you can go to SDM's official website and apply for the course. There are no application fees. There are some benefits, such as deduction in fees, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course gives a brief knowledge about the management of an organisation and also helps to create your own business. The department provides students with innovative fest and competition which allows students to know their stronghold areas in management. There is also a council of commerce and administration students which takes part in all the fest organised in the college. The faulty to students ratio are 1:10. The faculties are Master's degree holders in their respective field. The teaching method is very standard and the usage of technologies is properly done. The exam papers are prepared in the college as it is an autonomous college. The question papers are very standard and not so difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

The SIRI cloth industry has the most no. of interns going to them to learn new things. The students also joined many cooperative societies to work. The companies offer one small project and one big project to the terms

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible from the 5th semester of their course for campus placements. The companies such as Infosys, bosch, etc have visited the college. Over 90% of the students get recruited by companies. My main plan is to become the best CEO of a company

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is less compared to other colleges of this standard. Does it come with a price of? 27000. The college intimates the students about the upcoming scholarships that students ts can apply for. The companies such as Infosys has recruited many students

Campus Life :

There are a lot of fests conducted in the college and it is hard to tell at which point it is conducted. The library here has one of the biggest collections of books in the whole of Mangalore University College. The library is opened for all year round so that the students can access it with ease. The classrooms are equipped with modern television and projectors for e-learning. Sports are given major attention in college and the students can be admitted via sports quota. There are other groups such as NCC, NSS, Rovers & Rangers, Red Cross, etc. Students run a group called Commerce College Association which takes part mostly in fest and management

Hostel Facilities :

There are a total of 3 hostels:- IT hostel, Dheemanth hostel for boys and Dheemahi hostel for girls. The hostel has 2 and 4-bed sharing rooms. The food might be a bit of a problem for outsiders, but they will get adjusted to it at the earliest. There are many pg's near the college if the hostel cant be afforded

They are very professional in their work. They are well qualified in their respective fields. The term exams were perfectly timed for getting the students ready for the internship semester. The exams were pretty easy and it depends on the knowledge the student had as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is good but some teachers just come to class and read a pdf and go back, this needs to be improved. I've chosen this course because I studied Entrepreneurship in 12th also. Exams take place every 2 months and it's not that difficult to pass the examinations and one can easily score well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BBA because I always wanted to get into the field of management and also one thing about management is that it's versatile and can be utilised in various sectors. Faculty to student ratio - Our class size is 73 and the professors that come to our class are 4-6 depending on language courses and electives. The faculty for management is wonderful with professors with prior industry work experience and lots of degrees. No biasedness but the faculty really was unexpectedly good and everything they teach and do is commendable. We had an offline mid-term exam and also an online mid-term, with minor assessments in between, and at the end of the semester, we had our end-semester examination. The exams are generally variable depending on how you study the subjects. For me, the exam was pretty simple but also tough on the subjects with which I had no experience.
