Remarks :

For admission into this course, one needs to give either Wbjee or JEE Mains. Passing class 12 is mandatory. Then one needs to go through the Wbjee counseling process. For application, purpose visit Wbjee's official site for both the counseling and examination application form. The admission process should be faster. Application fees range from 500Rs-1000Rs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation engineering because this branch teaches us about electronics and instruments which is our future also. Faculty is to student ratio is average which is almost 1:20. Faculty members here are very well qualified and almost everyone has a Ph.D. degree. They use both conventional and modern methods for teaching. Exams here are conducted regularly and are moderately difficult.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 139000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships offered here are mainly associated with tech companies. TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. are the main companies. Roles offered were mainly tech-related like programming, etc. Different projects like drone making and web development were present. Some projects were also related to Artificial Intelligence. The outcome was learning new things.

Placement Experience :

From 6 semesters onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys are some of the companies which visited the campus. And more than 500 offers were made. The highest package here is 45 LPA which was offered by Amazon. The average package here is 4.5 LPA-5 LPA. More than 75% of students got placed. My plan after the degree is to secure a job with a maximum package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees here are very reasonable compared to other private colleges. The cost of the study is also less. Scholarships are provided to needy and meritious students. Financial assistance is also provided. Campus jobs are very decent. More than 75% of students here are placed. The monthly stipend is almost 30-40k.

Campus Life :

Riviera is the annual fest conducted in HIT. And Prayukti is the tech fest of HIT. Both the fest are conducted in April. The library here is occupied with almost every kind of book ranging from course-specific books to fiction related. Journals are also present in the library. Every classroom here is occupied with black and green boards. The proper seating arrangement is present there. Smartboards are also present. The campus here is fairly big compared to other MAKAUT colleges. So lots of sports are played here regularly and extracurricular activities are also conducted at regular intervals. Here in HIT, many clubs associated with different purposes are present. HIT inside, Nivedita, and HIT times are some examples.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels here are spacious and have their ground. Rooms are mainly three-seated and four-seated. Every room is provided with Bed, Mattress, Table, Chair, fan, and shelf. Meals provided in the mess are average. Not that good. Both veg and non-veg are provided. The menu is changed regularly. The registration process for the hostel is done with college admission only. And the rooms are very much affordable. If you want a single room or a pg many options are present. Some of the areas are Gandhinagar and Khurram Nagar where you can get one.

Great college

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester company will come for campus listed many companies will come here but major recruitment be done by mass recruiters like TCS Wipro Infosys etc the average package will be 4.5 to 5 lakhs 80 to 90% of students will be placed or chosen for higher studies.

A good college to enjoy campus life and get a good placement with minimal fees

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for on-campus placement after the 6th Semester, though they can apply off-campus in any semester. Tech giants like TCS, Wipro, CTS, PWC, ACCENTURE, and many more visit campus for tech jobs. Haldia Petrochemical, Adani, Tata Steel, and Exide, like core companies, are also there during placement. The highest package is 45 LPA from amazon. The average package is 5 - 6 LPA. Almost every student of the CSE dept. gets placed. overall placement percentage is 80. I am planning to join a good product-based company after my graduation.

A brilliant college with a familiar sorrounding and Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 6th semester and continue till the 8th semester. Very reputed and big companies come to our colleges like TCS, WIPRO, CONGNIGANT, MINDTREE, INFOSYS and many more with an average package up to 5.2 lacs and highest up to 15lacs. Approx. more than 80% of students get placements with a good package from our college.

Placement Experience:

This college has good placements an average of 8 lakhs. After giving 3rd-year 5th-semester exams companies started coming for placements so be prepared before that. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Adani, Capgemini, etc. TCS hire more students from our college every year. The highest package goes to 35 lakhs last year and the average package is 8 lakhs. 80% of students get placed every year. My plans are to get a job from the company and start preparing for government jobs.

Placement Experience:

Placement starts at the end of the 6th semester. Those who are eligible for the placements can sit and crack jobs. Reputed MNCs like Capgemini, Cyient, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, IBM, etc visit the college for placements. The highest package is around 8 lakhs/y and the average is around 4 lakhs/year. Over 90 percent of students got placements and were hired in reputed MNCs. I'm currently in the 3rd sem so surely I want a good job with a good amount of package from my college.
