What areas will be tested under the Final Audition for admission in Performing Arts?

Listed below are the areas that the institute will test before finalising the admission:

  1. Performance -The candidate will be required to choose any song of their choice of the level that describes their best performing ability. He/she will then be assessed based on accuracy, technique and stylistic elements. This contains 50 marks.
  2. Improvisation- The candidate will be asked to do a simple improvisation of a pop song / ballad progression. They will then be required to perform on it. Scatting for vocalist - 25
  3. Aural: In this round, a basic interval and triad recognition will take place. The candidate will be required to identify the changes in rhythm, melody or pitch. This round is for 25 marks.
  4. Personal Interview- The final round wherein questions will be asked to test the candidate's aptitude. This will be a non-technical round for 50 marks.
