Which one is better: PGDIE at NITIE or MTech in nanoscience at IISc?

It all actually depends on your interest. As both of these options are completely different and two different areas of interest. You must choose what you find interesting. There would not be any conflict between these two institutes over the placement stats as both of them will give good placements to their students. What's your experience of attending M.Tech (nanoscience and engineering) interviews at IISc Bangalore ?

The interviews for the M.Tech (nanoscience and engineering) program are conducted on the campus of IISc Bangalore. The interviews usually take around 3 days to get completed. There will be 4 panels with 4 faculties each. Generally, around 200-300 participants are called for the interview. The interviews start with a few general questions, regarding the preference for the subject and introduction. Then the technical part of the interview starts, the interviews are not very technical or difficult, the questions asked in the interview are aimed to test the student and how eager the student’s basic knowledge is in the subject. Students are also asked questions from their UG Projects. A typical interview ranges for 40 minutes to an hour. To prepare for the interview, clear your basic understanding of the subject and follow the syllabus for undergraduate and GATE.
