The average salary package of a CSE graduate from IIT Bombay is around 20 lakh per annum. Notably, the CSE branch is among the highest recruited branch each year with 100 percent placement rate. Top recruiters who visited the campus included Goldman Sachs, IBM, Qualcomm, Tata Steel, EC Japan, Microsoft, Rubrik. Also reputed organizations like DRDO and ISRO visits the campus for recruiting students of CSE.

The above-mentioned figures are Cost to Company (CTC) which indicates the total amount of expense the employer spends on the employee. The CTC includes signing bonuses, performance bonuses, etc. which inflates the actual figure. So, the basic pay is less than the CTC mentioned. The CTC offered to you can also include “other benefits” which include medical, periodicals, meal vouchers, and vehicle-related expenses. Also, the overall average CTC offered to a CSE graduate at IIT Bombay varies from company to company. However, the average salary (basic pay) offered by renowned companies recruiting students of CSE at IIT Bombay is around 18 LPA.
