Works at the Indian Institute of Management in Indore

Even though there have been many hyped and legitimate reasons to be skeptical, it is one of India's top undergraduate programs. Of course, an older IIT with a strong B Tech stream beats it, but that's it.

Your innocence and curiosity are killed by the Indian graduation system in class XII. IPM promotes and safeguards it. You are given the opportunity to ask questions, learn about different topics, and experiment with them so that you will be well-versed in all of their facets. Clearly, the PGP level is where thought consolidation takes place.

Students are incredibly intelligent, curious, daring, and innocent. Life teaches much more than any classroom ever could by living away from home and overcoming obstacles on your own. Because of this, the 200-acre campus' amazing and world-class facilities contribute to the overall experience and process of growing up.

MBA from Indian Institute of Management Indore (2024)

The IPM programme (Integrated Programme in Management) is the only programme which provides an opportunity for students to join an IIM right after 12thgrade. This one of a kind programme was started by IIM Indore in 2011 and 5 batches have graduated ever since. It’s a dual degree programme which offers a BA (Foundations of Management) and an MBA to the participants on successful completion of the BA programme. After the reach and success of this programme, IIM Rohtak also adopted the same programme into their curriculum last year. Given below is a list of the pros and cons of this programme.

Cons:

  • This programme is a relatively new programme and people in the industry have started slowly accepting the programme.
  • Another Con is that the students miss out on certain placement opportunities which demand work experience as criteria.

Pros:

  • Opportunity to join an IIM right after schooling, though the screening process is hard.
  • Opportunity to get into MBA of IIM Indore without taking the CAT examination.
  • The courses are diverse for the first three years, covering a diverse range from subjects like statistics, humanities and social sciences, Finance, Marketing, Economics topped with a wide array of co-curricular courses to choose from leading to overall personality development of the student.
  • The student learns from the top faculties of IIM Indore during the undergraduate and they are adapted to the teaching pedagogy which makes it a comfortable ride academically for them during the MBA.
  • IPM programme’s placements are improving over the years and newer domains like operations have started to hire the students of this program apart from marketing, human resources and finance. At IIM Indore there was a 100% placement rate for the IPM program during 2019 placement. The average salary offered increased from 15.16 lakh last year to 17.01 lakhs. While the highest salary package offered was around 89.25 LPA.

IPM is one of a kind programme striving to create socially conscious managers and is a great programme to start your business education.
