CGPA is the direct reflection of your academic performance during the four years of graduation. You will need your CGPA for higher studies, placements, internships, and scholarships. The importance of CGPA is paramount for these. Many recruiting companies visiting NIT Trichy placement, set a certain CGPA as the prerequisite.

The evaluation system isn’t without flaws and your CGPA may not reflect your true potential. But it is the only tangible proof of your efforts.

It has been suggested that you should not always work and study to improve your CGPA because it is not always necessary to get a job because of your good CGPA.

  • The teaching NIT Trichy campus is exceedingly meager and you cannot rest your career based on such teaching.
  • You will have to gain knowledge on your own and work on your own self to get the best placements.
  • Sometimes you will get fewer grades because your answers will not be as per the expectation of your faculty members but you should never get disheartened due to this.
  • Other than working on your CGPA you should also work hard on your research skills, B-Plans, and startup plans as well.

One of my friends suggested that about 60-70% of the students pursue their interest in the college campus like dance, music, arts, robotics, modeling, management, automobile engineering, etc. There are a lot of opportunities available in the market like this and there is a mad rush in the college for these activities. Most of the students do understand that getting a decent CGPA of 7-8 % would fetch them good jobs. They also understand that not having a decent CGPA would not also hamper their dreams.
