Yes, you should go ahead and join for sure. But there are certain conditions you should consider before you go ahead with your decision. Here are some points to consider:

If for some reason, you don’t get into a better government college or any of the premier private colleges, you can definitely consider going to IIIT Ranchi. You will get a number of facilities there, especially from NIT Jamshedpur.
IIT Ranchi is an institute known for its national importance. This is further enhanced by the fact that it is under NIT Jamshedpur’s mentorship. This makes a great difference between the colleges.
The campus stretches on for about 67 acres and if you are keen on facilities, you will get those as well. These include the various sports facilities and labs as well. In my opinion, you will be provided much more than any other new IIITs or NITs. NIT Jamshedpur has all the facilities that you may need.
The place is great in terms of crowd. It is a mix of the NIT and IIIT crowd which will help you mix well and have friends around in all events.
Lastly, you should know that 1st and 4th-year students stay at NIT Jamshedpur campus and 2nd and 3rd-year students are shifted to the Ranchi temporary campus.

In my opinion, you should choose wisely and make a decision accordingly as ultimately, it is your future that you will be making a decision on.
