It has been ranked among top 100 best engineering colleges in India by NIRF, 2020. So clearly getting into IIIT-A will be quite difficult. The latest statistics show that you must be ranked below 5K in IIT-JEE Main in order to get into B.Tech in IT if you fall under OBC category. This margin falls down to 400 if you belong to the general category.

Detailed category wise closing ranks of previous year for B.Tech IT is given in the table below:
