How can I do a good result in the 1st mid-semester as well as in the 1st semester exam at IIEST Shibpur?

Follow the class-notes and buy the previous year’s question papers from NB Xerox shop. Read the recommended books for the subjects and practice related questions from them. For Maths, it will be better to learn the proof of all the theorems. 

Maintain a habit of studying at least 2-3 hours daily. That way you won’t be overburdened right before examination. The syllabus can be completed in less than 20 minutes if you study regularly. 

Also, do not bunk classes. Try to attend every class and make your own notes in class itself. If you attend all the classes sincerely, the syllabus will be in your copy itself. Follow these tips and you will have no problem doing well in your classes. You will also have time to have fun and explore.
