Why shouldn't I join BIMTECH, noida for an MBA?

BIMTECH is a decent option for students with 70-80 percentile. But the biggest disadvantage for the institute is poor ROI. The MBA course fee is INR 12 LPA. While BIMTECH average package is INR 9 LPA. Although few good companies visit the campus drive, the placements are average. Most students are offered sales profiles.

BIMTECH is a decent college for students with 70-80 percentile. But the biggest drawback for the college is its low ROI. The total fee for 2 years long MBA is 12 lakhs. While the average CTC offered in placement drive is INR 9.38 LPA. If that’s not a concern for you you can join BIMTECH. 

But if you are taking education loans or have work experience of over 3 years, it's best if you look for better institutes. BIMTECH placements are average at best. Although reputed MNCs Gartner, Accenture, Infosys, etc visit the campus placement, they only hire 1-2 people. While some internship opportunities are decent, most internships are unpaid or commission-based.

BIMTECH is a good option for PGDM but it also has its shortcomings. In fact, the worth of any institute is completely subjective. You can only judge a college based on certain factors which you think are important for you. There is no right or wrong college per se.

Placement Package:

According to the recent statistics, the average CTC for BIMTECH is 8.13 LPA. This is less than many reputed business schools in India including LBS. 

Location:

The campus is located on the outskirts of the city. It will become harder for you to travel if you are a local resident. Pari Chowk is also considered an unsafe neighborhood.

Course Specialization:

BIMTECH is a good option for PGDM Retail, IBM, Marketing, and Finance. But its MBA Operations and HR programs are not up to mark. 

Campus Life:

The college is known for pampering the students with the on-campus facilities. Which sometimes seems to backfire and act against the students.

However, BIMTECH is a good place for management. There are cons in every institute. But if you keep them aside there are more pros in joining Birla Institute of Management Technology.
