IIM Lucknow is one of the top business schools in the country and it has a strong alumni base. Some of the famous alumni of the institute are as follows.

Late Mr. Shanmughan Manjunath, Former Manager- Indian Oil Corporation-

Known as the pride of the institution, Mr. Manjunath was a remarkable alumnus of IIM Lucknow.
He was a sales grade A officer and manager at IOC (Indian Oil Corporation).
However, on November 19, 2005, he was murdered. The reason behind his murder was that he sealed a corrupt petrol pump in Uttar Pradesh.
Subsequent to his death, an initiative by all IIMs was launched which was known as “The Manjunath Shanmugham Trust” for enhancing governance in the public life of Indians.

Mr. Ajit Thakur- CEO- Eros International Media Limited-

He is an eminent alumnus of IIM Lucknow.
He is serving as the CEO of Trinity at Eros International Media Limited.
In the past, he also headed Star One under Star India Pvt. Limited since 2011.
